She creates a warm and caring space to be open with others who find themselves in a similar place” Chris
Isabelle Roberts
Isabelle is Swiss by birth and upbringing and has lived in England most of her adult life. She studied Fine Art at the Bristol School of Art and now lives and works as an artist in Cornwall. Here is her website.
Isabelle and her husband Graham moved to Cornwall 12 years ago and slowly restored the ruin of an old little farmstead, called Tremayne. Isabelle loves to host groups of people around art, spirituality and mindfulness as well as retreats. She loves hospitality, cooking and meaningful conversations around a table of good, colourful but simple food.
She went a on a very lonely and painful journey away from her evangelical/Calvinst upbringing. She moved from the need for certainty to embracing mystery and trusting experience and her instinct. She is now on a gentle and exciting journey of shifting and evolving faith.
Robin Mitchell
Robin grew up in a commune in central Bristol where new monastic rhythms informed everyday life for the 25 or so residents. He studied Creative Writing at Falmouth University and spent his 20s exploring various musical and creative pathways, including touring in Asia, the US and Europe as a guitarist, and recording 100s of his own songs. In his early 30s he returned to Cornwall and now works part-time for Another Way, a pioneering project based at Truro Cathedral. Having grown up with inherited religious beliefs, he now identifies with the concept of "faith shifting" and is particularly drawn towards mysticism.
Robin makes music under many aliases, with Robi Mitch and Valley of the moon among his best-known. He enjoys using music and creativity as ways of exploring spirituality and the human experience, but also as avenues for meeting people and forming community.
