Hospitality on the faith shifting journey.

-A space to process loss, change and letting go.

-A space to find ground and connection in a changed landscape.

-A place for re-imagination.

There will be space for meditation and contemplation, reflection and thoughtful exploration. There will be music, poetry, and space to connect with others along the journey, as well as space to be quiet, to be amidst nature and to discern our own nature and our own stories.

Hilfield Friary, Hilfield, Dorchester, Dorset, DT2 7BE.

This is a an Anglican Franciscan Friary and the Franciscan brothers have five different chapel prayer services every day: Morning Prayer, Midday Prayer, Holy eucharist, Evening Prayer and Night Prayer.  Other community members join in as they wish and if you wish to join in with some of these you are very welcome.

The Friary also enjoy silent meals which is a wonderful experience to those who come on retreat.

The Friary is set in the most beautiful countryside and there are plenty of walks to explore. They have wonderful kitchen garden and a garden valley full of rhododendrons in flower at this time of year. It is an incredible time to be at the Friary right at the end of spring.
